"I bought myself an iPod last year when I had to start hemodialysis treatments. Your Renaissance Festival Podcast and your Irish & Celtic Music Podcast were the first free downloads I got for my iPod. I have to sit in a chair for at least three hours, three days a week and your music makes the time go by faster. Thank you for keeping the podcasts going. I hope to see you at the Maryland Renaissance Festival sometime! It WAS voted #1 in your awards, y'know! OH: I'm with Kristen! In my humble opinion, you can NEVER play too much Limey Birds or Iris & Rose! More Bawdy shows!"
- Beth, Maryland Renaissance Festival

"Congrats on the podcast. I was a player all along the Ren Faire curcuit about four or five years ago before I had to fly to Alaska for school. Long story, if you really wanna know just ask. But anywaz ever since I started my break from faire I have tried to collect as much faire music as possible. Not only am I glad to hear your show, I am even prouder too see the mass posting of diffrent Ren Faire groups to ITunes. When I started playing around with Itunes when I moved to alaska there was almost no faire music. And what there was well lets just say its really stuffy chamber music stuff. Now not only can I hear my favorite songs like Black Velvet Band I can hear dozens of bands doing there own version. I am sooo glad to see this..."
-  Casey Prout, Ojai Ren Faire

"We just got home from Scarborough Faire. I used your Renaissance Festival Podcast to set up a list of musicians we wanted to see today. We didn't quite manage to see all of them but did acquire 9 new CDs with only one true duplicate (we still don't share well). I shared the fact that I had heard some of their music on your pocast. By the way tomorrow Sunday May 28 is Queen Anne's Lace's 10 anniverery. They have special shows planned with all members new and old tomorrow at 3:00 and 5:00. Wish we'd known that when we were making plans."
-  Jan Czenkusch, Texas Renaissance Festival/Scarborough Faire

"Hey guys you have brought a joy into my life I had thought lost. I had to leave California where I had Started Attending Coronaberg Faire in Corona California, I am a Huge fan of Siler and Clark, I would love to heare more of their music Played. Thanks and keep up the good work."
-  Jeffrey McAllister, Corona California Renaissance Faire

"Your podcast just gets better and better. It's the one I listen to more than any other, and if I could only have one podcast your would be it. Keep up the fantasic work!"
-  John Stillmark, Bristol Renaissance Faire

"First off I love the podcast! I've been listening to it so much that I'm annoying my roommates and boyfriend. It makes me wish the fair was open now! Question. I've been obsessed with the Bawdy Special Edition...You guys have to do another one! More specifically I'm sooooo inlove with the Ravens "End of the Tail" In the podcast you talk about how it's an alternative ending to a popular song? What is the popular song this is based on? And do you know anyone else that sings it? Thanks much. I'm offically with the song."
-  Rebecca, Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire

"I thought I'd drop a line to let you know that yours is my favorite podcast. Keep up the great work. I love the variety and I love hearing music from bands I'd never heard before from all over the country. I got into Renaissance Festival music through The Poxy Boggards. I would like very much to hear more of them on the show please. And I thought I'd also put in my vote that I loved the bawdy show and the pirate shows. I would be totally jazzed to see more of those in the future."
-  Paul Mathers, Northern California

"I LOST TO FUC#%$&^#^%$^%KING TORTUGA TWINS?!?!?! well....that's it...it's all over...if i wasn't dead already...this is proof, by the way....I always suspected, but this seals it....anyone who could believe in a caring and loving supreme being after this....first bush-the-antichrist and now this. What's next? Britiney Spears at the Met? Rumsfeld wins the Nobel Peace Prize?"
-  Ded Bob, Texas Renaissance Festival

"I enjoy your podcasts so much that it is now all that I listen to at work. I have been performing at various local faires in Florida for 2 decades now (playing everything from the now famous rom bario Vladimir Yasonavich (BARF) to this year's Sheriff of Nottingham) and you feature several of my favorite performers (and dear friends), especially Empty Hats. This is not to say, however, that I have not discovered several new favorites to add to my music collection. Thank you for your wonderful work, keep it up and I will continue to tell everyone I can about it."
-  Kevin Thornhill, Hoggetowne Medieval Faire

"First off I must say that your podcast is one of my favourites, along with Dragon Page, Winging it, Slice of Scifi, the signal, skepticality , brobdingnagian minute and geek fu action grip. Now about the bawdy show you did, great stuff. I am fervently looking forward to the second part :) . And while I am talking about 'special shows' how about a 'drinking songs' special? I would love it. I am one of those guys who starts to sing when he gets a bit tired or slightly drunk. Now thanks to your marvelous podcast I've memorized 'the moose song', 'black leather band', 'never will marry (adjusted to I never will marry, I won't take a wife) ' rolling in the clover (adjusted to roll her over in the clover) 'donald where's yer trousers/what shall we do with the drunken sailor', 'do virgins taste better'. And if I only could find a female counterpart I'd do 'two mages' and some of the other fine sogns I can't remember the titles of right now :) . Keep up the great work. P.S. I love Kristen's laugh, especially the one after oh lets say... the moose song. It really shows that you enjoy doing the podcast and that in it self is worth so much. ds."
- Peter Johansson, Sweden

"I just wanted to drop you a line. I just got an ipod for Christmas and have just discovered Podcasts. I think your show is really great. The latest episode, the Bawdy episode, is really amusing. Keep up the good work!"
- Jessy, Carolina Renaissance Festival/Mountain Adventure Renaissance Faire

"I just was referred to your podcast recently. Ok, loving it! BUT!! On your bawdy special, I can't believe you left out two of my favorite groups who absolutely should have been put onto that list. The Belles of Bedlam and The Poxy Boggards. If you're not familiar with them, then here's your chance. :-D Looking forward to more episodes! Especially the bawdy ones"
- Cristin, Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire

"I stumbled on your pocast while I was looking for music on itunes. I enjoy it, and eagarly look forward to each episode. In fact its now the big thing in the troupe that I play with, the Yeoman of the Guard. Keep up the good work, it definately makes the time between faires bearable."
- David, Renaissance Pleasure Faire (South)

"I just got a chance to listen to the baudy podcast, and it was great. Yes, there needs to be more of the same. Heck, there is enough good music out there that, if you were so inclined, it could sustain a completely separate podcast. Thank you so much for the work you do."
- Allen

"I'd just like to say I love your guys show and I'm looking forward to hearing your next bawdy special. Might I recomend that you include Black Leather Pants by The LimeyBirds. You'll have noticed I don't have a home faire and thats becouse I live in bc canada and have limited travel ability. I ran across things becouse I was listening to renradio and on the website found mention of the pirate podcasts and I've been hooked ever since. I might not be able to go to renfairs but I do get out to the ocassional SCA event but they have nothing like the renfair bands. Keep Casting. I've even been inspired to take my mp3 player wich has a record ability on it to some SCA events to see if I can persuade some of the bardic types to let me record them and do a SCA podcast of medevilesque tunes. I don't expect that to turn out till this summer. Oh yes and Marc, my eldest boy Talisin loves your bands cat songs. :} "
- Rowean, Canada

"I just wanted to let you know that I so enjoy your podcast. I've downlaoded all your past episodes and I'm fast on my way to catching up to your latest podcasts! It's so nice to be able to enjoy Ren music!"
- Becky, Michigan Renaissance Festival

"I wanted to say 'Huzzah!' for the renfest music podcast.  I was turned on to you by Mur over at Geek Fu Action Grip and have had great fun listening to all the Brobdingnagian Bards stuff I could find. When I discovered your podcast there was much rejoicing.  So much that I've been inspired to pick up my penny whistle again and began playing during my daily commute while I'm waiting for the ferry. Anyway, keep up the good work!"
- Kate (aka Pirate Bob), Greater St. Louis Renaissance Festival

"I absolutely love this podcast! It makes the off-season so much more bearable. And I have to say that Scott is loony, just like the rest of the St. Louisans that join the Mooseline! ;^P Yar!"
- T. Sinclair

"I was so excited to find your podcast. I am in the process of downloading all of them! Add me to any mailing list you may have for the podcast. Thanks so much for doing this. I have emailed my favorite bands from the Georgia and Carolina ren fests in the hopes that they will send .mp3's to your show. Keep up the great work! Many thanks."
- Lea Hepler, Georgia Renaissance Festival

"Your Podcast is so great. I was in the Greater St. Louis Renaissance Faire for two years. It was so fun... Hearing your Podcast takes me back to those days. It makes me feel nostalgic. Thanks so much. I do have a request, however... ;) Three Words: THE MOOSE SONG."
- Scott, St. Louis Renaissance Faire

"Marc & Kristin, You guys have a fantastic program going here and I'm doing everything I can to promote it, Fairy Tales, and anything else I can that you're involved with."
- Peter Beckley, Colorado Renaissance Festival

"I just wanted to tell you that the Ren Festival podcast is my favoirt podcast. The exposure to gorups I've never heard of is great, and I've got a whole list of artists that I want to see in person now. Keep up the good work!"
- Jason Maxwell, Arizona Renaissance Festival

"I've been listening to your Renfest Podcast since episode 3.  I was really excited to hear The Ballad of Joss and you spreading the word about Serenity & Firefly at the end episode #6.  I co-host a podcast called The Signal that is dedicated to Firefly.  I'm going to work in a mention of your podcast & The Balld of Joss the next time we record (that will be our show #6 too). Thanks again and keep up the good work.  I love your podcast."
- Les Howard, The Signal, www.serenityfirefly.com

"Thanks for hosting this site and the podcasts. I'll be honest that I've never heard of your site/podcast until the 4.9 iTunes came out, but I really like what I've heard here and am branching out in my listening "sphere" after my continual listening to your podcasts. I'm not in contact with any music groups that perform this type of music, but I'm going to tell my friends that also listen to this type of music about your site/podcast. And I also wanted to say I "LOVED" the pirate cast and I can't wait for more.... and I agree, the "empty hats" song "the hat came back" was great.... Again, thanks and keep up the good work..."
- William, Maryland Renaissance Festival

"We recently transplanted to Oklahoma from California so we've been checking out all the local faires to see what was available. In the process we stumbled on RenRadio and your podcast broadcasts. Both of these productions are outstanding and I just wanted to drop a line to say thank you for the podcast services."
- Andrew Chandler, Castle of Muskogee, Oklahoma

"I just found your Renaissance Festival podcast from a mention it got on the Celtic Music News podcast. I really like it. Keep up the good work!" - Les Howard

"Great music, keep it coming, thanks for putting it together and on iTunes." - Sean Lisse, fest-goer, Ann Arbor, MI

"I have listened to all three podcasts. Huzzah! Well Done. It is great to be able to hear samplings from other Renfaires. now ... for the suggestion: We will be going to Bristol this weekend. Something from the Mistrels of Mayhem (Ahem!) would be great. They do a great 'Johnny Jump Up'." - Bret Gruener, Bristol Renaissance Faire
