When will the lifetime achievement award be announced?
Perhaps you could add another category?
Best demonstrator.
Each festival has a group of schedule demonstrations and non-scheduled ongoing demonstrations. Blacksmiths, Glassblowers, Candle Makers, Silversmiths, Coppersmiths, Wood Carvers, Flint masters, etc.
I think the folks doing the historical demonstrations would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
I just wanted to congratulate ALL the winners in each category, regardless of place. Each of you exemplify excellence in what you do. Because of your commitment and dedication to your craft, you keep the public perception of us as “Artists”. Thank you so much for continuing to share your talent with the world!
I feel this is biased against west coast fairs here in Ca.
Hey Jeff,
It may well be. But that’s because we’ve had a tough time getting West Coast faires talking about the podcasdt. Thusfar, I only know two bands from the West Coast who’ve even submitted music: Merry Wives and Poxy Boggards.
So here’s you can do. Lead the Crusade to get the West Coast involved. Tell out the Rennies there to visit the website, listen to the show and get involved. The awards start anew in September each year. So mobilize the Rennies there to VOTE!
That’s the only way we can really get this involved.
Slainte!
